Some news for you to chomp on in between work related tasks...
Hot Hardware takes the ASUS Lamborghini VX1 Laptop around the track.
I4U takes on the WinTV-HVR-950 USB Tuner with ATSC HD that provides over-the-air support for HD signals. Might be handy to take with you on the road to record some over the air, uncompressed HD to view when you get home. Check it out.

Have you ever wanted to try out one of those Panasonic ToughBook Laptops to see if they were overrated or not? Well, here's your chance!
Panasonic is giving you a free 3 day trial. At the end of the trial, they will give you a $25.00 AMEX gift check as a thanks. If you decide to buy one, they will give you $25, and Panasonic will give you an extra $100 bucks off. Try the laptop. Get $25.00. I'll bite! It looks like it's for Canadian Residents only, though there might be a US offer available as well somewhere. |

Okay, here's a few more laptop tidbits to keep you folks busy over the weekend.
Digital Trends takes on the Sennheiser CX300 Hybrid in ear headphones. Handy for packing it light in a laptop bag. Just make sure you don't chew celery or carrot sticks. In ears tend to amplify stuff like that in your head.
Also in the ear is CyberWizardPit with their review of the Icemat Siberia In-Ear Headset. Looks like an even better laptop option, and even smaller than the Sennheiser. Of course, if you care about sound quality, Sennheiser is the way to go, but it is nice to have other options out there.
ThinkComputers compares egos with the Tom Bihn Super Ego Laptop Bag.
XYZ Computing checks out the Netgear Skype WiFi Phone. These are a great addition to your laptop lifestyle because wherever there is WiFi, there is free phone service to your Skype buddies.
Though Big Bruin says it's for gamers, I think the Pertelian X2040 V4 USB LCD Portable Display would be great for laptop lifers giving us access to more info while taking care of business on the main screen.
Have a great weekend everyone! |

First off RBmods is trying to figure out if Dell PC2100 CL2.5 CAS SODIMM's are worth the cash.
DV Hardware tries out the WaterField Cozmo Mambo Combo Laptop Bag. Damn, that was a mouthful. Say it ten times fast will ya?
3D Game Man actually does a real review of the Coolermaster P1 Laptop Cooler. No "Kicks Ass" on this one though.
A few more things later if I'm up to it. |
