Laptop Safety At first, I was concerned that my little Tablet PC would swim around in the laptop compartments, but after using the bag a couple times, I had no concerns about laptop safety in either of the two potential laptop compartments. The Velcro straps seemed to tie it down the notebook well, and the padded walls absorbed any movement that did occur. A larger laptop (Up to 15.4") would likely be even more secure. Organization WOW is all I can say! I’m the type of person who is always working on five different projects at once. Finding a laptop bag that can keep me organized is a rare find, but the Targus Top loading trademark Laptop case 400 Edition seems to do the job and then some. The front compartment, with the pen holders and room for other stationary supplies fits my needs nicely, but what really blew me away was the expandable compartment with dividers. As I was only using one laptop and not carrying a portable printer or any other devices, I was able to use the second laptop compartment to carry books and other documents. An added bonus for me was the location of the zippered cell phone holder. Discrete but easily accessible. Weight distribution With just a laptop and a few files, the weight was evenly distributed and the shoulder strap was cushy and comfortable. Once I started adding a few text books, the weight started to increase and I began to wish it had wheels. Although this could just be my fault for wanting to make use of each inch of space available in the very roomy bag and the regular laptop user may not run into this problem. The shoulder strap is amazingly comfortable. It stays centered and relieves ordinary loads of weight with ease. Looks and Style A clean professional image was clearly portrayed with this simple but stylish black bag. I find a lot bags these days try to be too flashy, but the Targus Top loading Trademark Laptop Case 400 edition, stuck to the essentials and came across as being very polished.
