About the Mouse

The star of the combo is mouse. Yes it is small, but it also has some features that prevent annoyances that I've had with other Bluetooth devices like the Microsoft Bluetooth Desktop (Reviewed Here ). First off, the mouse could actually be turned off when not in use. This is something that my Microsoft Bluetooth mouse would not do. It just stayed on the whole time draining out the batteries...albeit slowly.

It's great that the unit came with batteries, because I hate fumbling around for them in the junk drawer. In my opinion, everything should be rechargeable. The BT510 takes the power supply issue one step further by also providing the mouse with a cord that allows the unit to be powered off the USB bus. This allows the unit to continue to run when the batteries have been depleted, or if you're simply in a jam and have no more batteries kicking around.
