Man, this thing is so cool. It's got USB ports, it's uber sexy in a laptop sort of way. I need to get a hold of one of these for myself!

"In a recent review I mentioned that many component manufacturers have realized that there is a growing market for coolers for notebook computers. Many notebooks are now true desktop replacements, and offer components that are equal (or greater) in performance than their bulkier counterparts, and can generate the same kind of heat. The problem is that unlike a tower case, you can't just slap a few 120mm fans inside to handle the heat. Notebook coolers not only help keep the components at lower operating temperatures, which can extend their lives and improve their performance, but they also allow the operator to use the laptop more comfortably and safely.

With that said, we are going to look at the NotePal P1 Notebook Cooler, which is Cooler Master's latest entry into this growing market. Cooler Master has a strong reputation when it comes to desktop cases and CPU coolers, and it will be interesting to see if they can apply their success to the needs of notebook computers."
