So what do you do with that old IDE hard drive that you upgraded from? Well, you can either toss it, or you can make it a good backup drive by investing in one of these. "There are a lot of cool enclosures available, almost all of which have comparable performance and features. In the end choosing an enclosure usually comes down to looks, connectivity, and price. While brand can factor into the decision, it usually does not matter as much as you would think. This was a reason why when Vizo asked me to look at a few of their products, I was up for it. In this review we will be looking at Vizo's Paragon 2.5" One Touch Backup HDD External Enclosure. This product uses a notebook hard drive in order to store a lot of data in an extremely small package. While 2.5" drives are expensive, they are extremely light and small enough to fit in a pocket or briefcase. While you have to pay a lot for this portability and the capacity is currently limited to 160GB this is the perfect accessory for storage on-the-go. The Paragon not only acts a portable hard drive, but can perform one touch backups, data synchronization, and data restoration." Related Products Read on at XYZ Computing |
