As a follow up to yesterday's story, it looks like the initial 100,000 recalled batteries have now ballooned to 205,000. As a result, SANYO will not be stepping up to bat to help out LENOVO. TOKYO/SHANGHAI (Reuters)—Troubled Japanese electronics maker Sanyo Electric Co. said on Friday it would shoulder with China's Lenovo Group the cost of recalling 205,000 Sanyo-made laptop battery packs that can overheat.
