OCZ Rally 512MB USB Drive

When you are choosing components for your PC speed is always a factor, whether it’s a hard drive or video card. When choosing a flash drive it’s no different. You want something that is fast, especially if you are using it to transport large files. Today we have a flash drive that is very fast and leaves competitors in the dust thanks to the implementation of Dual Channel technology. What drive am I talking about? The OCZ Rally drive of course! Today we will be looking at the 512 MB version.

The Rally drive comes in the normal clamshell packaging. On the front of the package is some information and features about the drive. On the back you can see the contents of the package.

Getting the package open we have the following items: The Rally drive, USB extension cable and lanyard. There is no driver CD included; OCZ offers the windows 98 drives and USB format utility on their website.

Taking a look at the drive it has the Rally logo on the front and the OCZ logo on the back. The body of the drive is made of aluminum which gives it a good feel when you are handling it.

The drive is also very sleek and small. Here it is compared to the Corsair Voyager and Kingston DT. As you can see, it is much smaller and has a low-profile look.
